My View on Incontinence Products

I have recently met another person who is driven to make a difference in the world of incontinence. He has lived with incontinence his entire life. For years, he has searched for products that would allow him to live life to its fullest. He told me, as many incontinent people have before, that products he has purchased from the local Wal-Mart or CVS often leak and ultimately cause embarrassment. His struggle with this caused him to internalize his life. It inhibited him from living happily, participating in family events, and even working.

Since starting my Blog and launching Continence Connection, LLC I have been privileged to have met so many wonderful people. In my research, I have come to know that there are more than 30-million Americans dealing with some form of incontinence. But, do you know what? I firmly believe that this statistic is low. I believe that these 30-some-million people are only those who have reported their incontinence. I can't tell you how many calls I get, every day, from individuals who have never talked to anybody before about their incontinence. Ever! Many of them are men hiding their "secret", living in shame, fear of being found out, and fear of leaking in public and facing ridicule. I find this extremely sad. But I also know that there ARE answers out there and products that really do work, which will put people in a completely different place in life, once they learn about them.
